Job Description:

Bring your passion for food and beverage service to Brisbane's largest conferencing and events operation.

As a Conference and Event Operations Supervisor, you will assist and lead your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

What you will be doing:

Assist in leading and training a large team of food and beverage attendants
Supervise and delegate duties, whilst ensuring brand standards are met
Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests.

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

A luxury service focused personality is essential
Functions experience in a large hospitality events operation
Experience in leading a team and supervising others
Ability to work rotating roster, with the occasional late night or overnight shift
A real passion for everything food and beverage
Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
A high level of personal presentation
A team player with the ability to work efficiently.
