SC1 Demonstrated willingness and ability to operate administrative systems such as CASES21 and Compass, including experience with CASES21 Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Role:


ES Finance
The role requires a good knowledge of finances (both receivable and payable) and GST processing. Experience with CASES, Compass, excel and google sheets would be an advantage.


Accounts Receivable

  • Maintain CompassPay portal, including, but not limited to voluntary parent payments and curriculum contributions
  • Create charges in CASES for excursion, camps and activities and maintain Compass events portal to track payments received, including CSEF and CompassPay payments
  • Maintain reports for teachers to track payments received and follow up on nonpayments
  • Prepare profit & loss reports for events once finalised

Accounts Payable

  • Maintain CASES 21 database and create new creditors as required
  • Carry out annual ABN checks on creditors via the ABN look up tool
  • Carry out all CASES21 Finance Accounts Payable processes
  • Entering all purchase orders, invoices, credit notes, AIMS work orders and process payment of all creditor invoices according to DET guidelines
  • Process approved purchase orders from eschools, into C2
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and invoices
  • Reconcile creditor statements

General

  • Assisting with reception duties as required
  • Assist with the provision of First Aid as required
  • Other duties as directed by Business Manager and Principal

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and direct the preparation of annual budgets and regular financial statements and contribute to the financial decision making of the school.
  • Prepare funding submissions for the leadership team and school council.
  • Direct the accounting processes of the school and ensure that all funds, including school investments, are effectively accounted for according to Treasury regulations.
  • Provide advice to staff on spending against budget in respect to faculties, programs and other school projects.
  • Administer government grants and other school income.
  • Manage fund raising activities.
