About us

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role

The Manager will lead the implementation of the Specialist Family Violence Courts model at the new Specialist Family Violence Courts.

The Manager will lead the work to embed the systems and processes that support the model; responding to issues, working with internal and external stakeholders, and leading MCV's engagement on the delivery of capital works across seven court sites.

From time to time, travel to these sites is required.
About you
You are an experienced manager, skilled at delivering projects in the justice and legal sectors. Contemporary experience working in courts is highly desired.
You have a deep understanding of the court user experience and thorough knowledge of the impacts of family violence.

You are skilled at working on complex matters, working with mulitple stakeholders and working collaboratively to achieve goals of One MCV.
