Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education in food preparation or proven experience in meat cutting.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting heavy items.
  • Willingness to work in cold environments.
  • Indepth knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
  • Proficiency in boning lamb ,beef products.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Skillfully bone lamb, beef products, with a focus on forequarters.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and safety.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Efficiently package meat products, ensuring proper storage and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking and reporting stock levels.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for meat preparation and packaging.
  • Help maintain a clean and organised workspace for an efficient workflow.
  • Previous experience as a Knifehand, Boner, Slicer, or Slaughterer
  • Proof of Qfever vaccination or willing to receive Qfever vaccination
