Some of your responsibilities will include: - Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Program Delivery and Operations (PDO) Assurance Framework. Contribute to the development of the annual Assurance Operational Plan for the Assurance Unit and provide expert advice to management on matters pertaining to the program and project assurance. Lead and provide support to the Director (Assurance) in delivering a comprehensive governance and assurance program as per the Assurance Operational Plan and in line with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Conduct assurance activities and provide written reports outlining findings and recommendations on any improvement opportunities or risk mitigation, including post implementation reviews. Negotiate and communicate with Divisions, Regions, Districts, local authorities and other external stakeholders within the road industry to ensure their requirements are incorporated into all relevant project reviews

Provide specialist/consultancy advice to key stakeholders in establishing and maintaining governance and assurance methods and tools for their business area. Provide consultancy advice and counsel to key stakeholders regarding review findings in the governance and assurance environment and practices throughout the PDO. Maintain the Assurance Program to ensure recommendations and identified business improvement opportunities are implemented which support TMR's values and contribute to business objectives.
