We have an exciting opportunity for a
Safety & Risk Engineer to join our Advisian team in Australia.


In this role, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Deliver safety & risk engineering services that meet applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform consequence assessments.
  • Carry out research and data collection and contribute to safety studies including Fire Safety Studies, Escape and Muster Studies, Equipment Survivability Studies, QRAs to support the demonstration of ALARP and recommend actions
  • Assist with the preparation of written communication including reports, minutes of meetings and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.

To be successful in the role you will have:


  • Relevant Safety & Risk consulting experience.
  • A recognized degree in either Process or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of safety & risk engineering
  • Experience in operating DNV PHAST software.
  • A good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Experience in the Energy Transition, Oil & Gas, Mining and chemical industries.
