The Role:

Join Moderna's enthusiastic and collaborative Medical Affairs team and make a significant impact.

By joining our team, the Medical Education Lead APAC will be responsible for the development, management and execution of a comprehensive Medical Education plan, with focus on:
i) regional independent medical education; ii) company-led medical education activities, and; iii) country and regional congress plan.


This role will exercise supervision in terms of costs, methods, and vendors, and may eventually be responsible for direct reports.


Here's What You'll Do:

Responsible for development, management and execution of regional Medical Education and Congress plans for the APAC regions.

Coordinate regional and country medical education and congress activities to ensure alignment and avoid non-productive duplication.

Management of vendors that support independent and company-led medical education and congress activities and programs.


Ensure quality standards and effectiveness in the implementation of country and regional medical education and congress activities and related deliverables.


Provide input into Global Knowledge Integration groups to ensure medical education (including content) and congress needs in APAC are well supported by the local and global medical affairs organization.


Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality and that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork.

Position may travel up to 25%.

Other duties as assigned.


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

A degree in life sciences, preferably with post-graduate experience, with relevant experience in the field of medical education and scientific content development/management.

Project management skills.

Proven track record in successful implementation and completion of medical education and scientific communication programs and congress management.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have experience and demonstrated capability to manage clinicians and other technical professionals as well as concurrent clinical programs.

Proven ability to interface in multi-functional teams and influence others to work collaboratively.

Excellent interpersonal skills to establish cohesive teams and interact effectively at all levels in the organization.

Must be able to organize, lead, and direct diverse activities in a changing environment.

Must be self-motivated and strive to make a significant impact.

Must be creative and flexible when solving problems, and able to encourage and engage input from others.
