THE ROLE

The Driver Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for all duties and responsibilities associated with ensuring the organisation as a whole meets its compliance and statutory requirements within the rules set under CoR and under the company's NHVR accreditation.


  • Act as the main point of contact for incoming calls from Drivers in relation to issues with Real Time Fatigue / Breaches and Monitor Driver Points.
  • Complete daily and weekly cross checks of log book pages vs Real Time Fatigue
  • Complete any manual keying / over keying of log book pages into Real Time Fatigue
  • Create / deactivate logins and passwords for drivers company wide
  • Issue breaches / complete coaching on breaches for all Brisbane Based Depot Drivers and oversee companywide completion through other depot locations
  • Assist in the debriefing process when required
  • Conduct Log Book debriefings / audits on a regularly daily basis and action / prepare sign off all nonconformances.
  • Review Load Plans (hours checks)
  • Liaise with and provide advise to Drivers regarding logbook hours, BFM checks, rest periods and legal hours and where required update and note breaches or changes
  • Provide training and ongoing support for all drivers and operational management team
  • Provide Fatigue Accreditation LOA letters to new drivers and ensure accurate recording in system
  • Assist recruitment officer with coordination of all annual induction and training requirements for all drivers at all depot locations and record and upload these requirements.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role


  • Minimum requirement

  • High School Certificate. Higher School Certificate preferred
  • Administer the implementation of fatigue management strategies
  • Experience in a fast paced transport administrative environment
  • Sound knowledge of transport and distribution of produce and other multi temperature food products
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Principles
  • Knowledge of Fatigue Management
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding or workplace environmental management
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
