We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Superintendent with underground mining experience to join us on a full-time basis starting on one of our projects in South Australia.


You will assist the Construction Manager and work with the team to make the project a success with your skills and experience.

You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.

There is a great remuneration package on offer and an opportunity to expand your career in the mining industry. This role is based on a 2 and 1 roster at a remote mine site. Flights, camp accommodation and meals are supplied.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Undertake projectspecific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Construction Manager
  • Leading a team of supervisors
  • Lead by example for all Safety on site
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
  • Maintain records of workinprogress and communications in line with the project management methodology
  • Evaluating bid specifications, reviewing plans, and drawings and formulating an overall estimating and pricing strategy
  • Complete daily and weekly reports
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities

ABOUT YOU:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Have a great attitude
  • Enjoy problem solving
  • Excellent Leadership in Safety
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role
  • Underground Mining Experience
  • Mining Supervisor (S123) desirable and not essential
  • Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Quality Management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • Relevant State Electrical License
  • Highrisk work License (with WP class) desirable, but not essential
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable, but not essential
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License
  • White / Blue Construction Card
Please note all your tickets and licenses MUST be current to commence on-site and be employed by PHE.
