About the Rothsay Project

The Rothsay Gold Mine is located approximately 80km east of Perenjori WA and approximately 400kms from Perth Airport or 1 hr flight from Perth.

The scope of this project includes mine development (2 boom capital and single boom narrow vein) and mine production (narrow vein longhole stoping).

Redpath has a modern underground fleet making it an exciting opportunity for operators and tradespeople alike.

The role involves

Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster, 12hr shifts
Carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to the fleet of light vehicles on the project;
Maintain light vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements;
Ensure all maintenance records and work orders are updated accurately;
Ensure the workshop is kept clean, tidy and in order.

We are looking for

A Light Vehicle mechanical trade
Experience working with Underground light vehicles, preferably Toyota
Wet Braking maintenance and fitting experience
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
Auto electrical knowledge is desired
Valid manual drivers licence
National Police clearance within last 6 months advantageous
A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto,
