About the role:

The APS 6 Procurement Officer (Labour Hire) is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.

The APS 6 Procurement Officer (Labour Hire) is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.

Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the business's objectives.

Duties:

Manage and undertake procurement reporting and verification activities, and process procurements through the financial management system.
Maintain and implement procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Contribute to procurement planning activities within the wider Procurement Team and across the business.
Provide quality and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including guidance and reporting to the Branch Leadership, and the Executive Leadership Team. Monitor and progress work area activities to achieve work area objectives, ensuring consistent and highquality outputs and maintaining team cohesion.

Required experience/skills:

Desirable experience/skills:

Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR's). SAP experience.
