Your new role:


We are currently looking to add a Cost and Schedule Analyst to our newly created Australian based team primarily looking after Engineering, with some cross over into ILS when needed.

You will be a part of the Hunter Class Project Controls and Planning team for - Engineering as a Cost Schedule Analyst.

In this role you will be a part of an inclusive, fun and hardworking unit providing significant support to Hunter Class Program.


In more specific terms you will:

  • Analyse, communicate & setup scheduling requirements for the project scope issues through the formal project control system, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contributed to developing & enacting schedule management project.
  • Establishment & updating of Contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and WBS Dictionary.
  • Implement and control project budgets from approved estimates, properly resourced and costed schedules and project control and execution of plans.
  • Collaboration with CAMs and project finance to ensure correct forecasting and month end cost reporting.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Program Management, Finance and Operations to enable the effective control of change across the Program

About you:


As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Relevant qualifications and professional development in relation to Project Management
  • Schedule management experience ideally with Open Plan, P6 or Cobra however not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the defence, government, or professional services industries.
  • Natural ability to build trusted relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
  • A strong track record in managing resources to ensure services are delivered for current and future demand.
  • Strong communication skills, and you'll also be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems.

Clearances:


As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
