The Opportunity:

We have partnered with Victoria's leading healthcare provider to bring you an opportunity that is responsible for deepening the relationships this organisation has with its loyal supporters and corporate partners.

You will be joining during an exciting and strategic phase of growth and will assist the foundation to further develop a community of supporters whose generosity is essential for providing high-level healthcare to Victorians, every single day.

The Role:


This role requires you to:

  • Develop a donor stewardship strategy that is tailored appropriately to each donor giving stream; major gifts, trusts and foundations, individual and annual giving, corporate partnerships and bequests
  • Develop and implement donor and corporate partner recognition matrices to guide meaningful acknowledgment activities across the donor community
  • Build strong relationships with donors and corporate partners to understand their motivation and appropriately recognise, celebrate and communicate the impact of their support
  • Coordinate a suite of group and individual donor engagement activities including tours, events, and other bespoke activities that are aligned with your donor stewardship and engagement strategy
  • Provide specialist expertise on donor engagement techniques and activities to develop longterm relationships with donors and corporate partners
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to design and implement an alumni engagement program
  • Produce strong written, video and photographic content to drive fundraising priorities
  • Lead and coordinate a range of donor recognition communications initiatives in collaboration with the foundation's team members

The Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Fundraising or related field
  • Industry experience working within a fundraising team (ideally) interacting with donors or customers
  • Experience in marketing and communications
  • Experience delivering and planning supporter events and activities ranging in size
  • Strong aptitude for writing and creating compelling stories
  • Experience successfully planning, managing and implementing supporter thankyou programs and associated activities
  • Previous experience interacting with donors and stakeholders
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and outgoing professional who has a passion for people
  • Team player including the ability to maintain effective working relationships within a cross cultural environment
In addition, you will be required to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children's Check.


The Offer:

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne paying up to $120K + Super, plus salary packaging (commensurate with experience).
