    The Position

    We are seeking a creative, outgoing, customer service drivencasual to provide support with the Active Ageing programs at the Cockburn Seniors Centre .

    Applicants with a high level of empathy for seniors areencouraged to apply, as this role is the first point of contact atthe front reception desk. A warm, friendly and professional imageis required to be displayed at all times.

    This position helps to develop, support and take bookings foractivities, programs, outings and resources at our busy Centre.

    The successful applicant MUST possess;

  • An interest in working with seniors and culturally diverse customers
  • Previous cash handling and front counter experience
  • Willingness to assist with event set up and pack up
  • Experience in a bookings (or similar) role will be highly regarded
  • Well-developed computer skills are essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

    • Hourly Rate: $ per hour (inclusive ofcasual loading)

    Hours: The Centre is open Monday to Friday,08:30am - 4:30pm and we require casual coverage during those hours,however flexible work hours can be negotiated with the successfulcandidate. (Occasional availability to attend activities andoutings that are held in the evening is required).
