In this context, we are actively in search of a proficient
Quality Assurance Manager to enrich our team based in the picturesque region of Western Australia.
Reporting Line - Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Assist the organisation with all SMQS processes in order to ensure regulatory, client,and company compliance.
- Conduct safety investigations and audits for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of SERA across all Xplorate activities.
- Contribute to the development of quality assurance processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify potential and existing operational risk and collaborate with stakeholders to keep risk as low as practically possible.
- Manage and motivate an experienced Xplorate team of quality control personal
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to the quality team, operations and site/base operations
- Driving cost reductions and process improvement across all Xplorate activities
- Control of nonconforming product hold, rework, reassess, reject
- Lead customer complaint and site quality issue investigations
- Implement corrective actions and prevention strategies
- Understanding of relevant safety and quality system standards such as SQF and HARPS
- Implement and develop OH&S procedures and ongoing management of OH&S across the business
- Understanding of continuous improvement processes
- Managing and improving a Quality Management System
- Creating strong governance systems and operational procedures
- Ability to lead a team
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager (or closely related position)
- Certification as a Lead Quality Auditor.
- Experience in Aviation, Mining and Oil & Gas industries.
- Safety management systems, risk management and/or investigation experience.
- Previous experience with safety reporting systems (preferably SERA) and knowledge of quality and/or change management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write safety investigation and audit reports.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with important internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel when required.
- A team player with an excellent attitude.

$85, $95,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Safety & Quality assurance: 3 years (required)
- Aviation, Mining, and Oil &
- safety reporting system (Preferably SERA): 1 year (required)
