Administration Officer - Timetabling

The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic individual to work in our Administration team within the School of Medicine.

You will provide high level administrative support to Academics delivering courses within the School, which includes supporting the coordination of timetabling activities.

You will be a good communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills, be organised and have the ability to work autonomously and be able to use initiative to problem solve.


Key Accountabilities:


  • In consultation with academic and professional staff, be responsible for the development and updating of timetables for uploading into relevant timetabling systems.
  • Respond effectively and in a timely fashion to a wide range of student timetabling enquiries in a studentcentred, solution focused and efficient manner.
  • Where relevant, support the smooth operation of the external professional experience placement process for students, staff and industry partners which includes the coordination of compliance requirements for students to ensure they meet University, industry partner, jurisdictional and accreditation body requirements.
  • Liaise with Unit Coordinators and the digital innovation team to support all functional aspects of course delivery in MyLo.
  • Work with the broader Administration team to ensure the efficient organisation and coordination of examinations and results.

Your Application

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changing work methods and working environment.
  • High level organisational, administrative, and prioritisation skills with the ability to work with mínimal day to day supervision, meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and prioritise tasks, together with experience in the use of complex timetabling systems (or systems of equivalent complexity).
  • Welldeveloped oral and written communication skills including the ability to draft correspondence and prepare minutes and reports, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an effective member of a team.
  • Ability to focus on and understand client needs.

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $78,551 comprising base salary within the range of $63,375 to $67,138 plus 17% superannuation.
