IRT Kirrawee:

IRT Sans Souci Gardens:
Permanent Part Time role with

32 hours per week available


Your work may include:


  • Helping facilitate a range of engaging onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft and special events
  • Helping to develop and plan a range of social, recreational and cultural activities
  • Assisting residents on bus trips and community outings
  • Supporting resident participation and offering warm companionship
  • Ensuring residents' needs, values and spiritual values and cultural preferences are taken into account

To be successful you will have:

  • A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willing to obtain)
  • Initiative and creative flair
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and prioritise work
  • The ability to put a smile on a residents face and brighten their day
  • A big heart you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
  • Knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia (desirable)
