We are looking for
Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our multidisciplinary team, servicing participants across South East QLD.

We are looking for those who want to build a career within behavior support, who are looking for support, supervision and guidance to be the best they can be and who want to help our participants get the most out of life everyday.

On a daily basis, you will be...

  • Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and personcentred planning
  • Evaluating, developing and delivering evidencebased support plans within a complex support space
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life
  • Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives family, carers, friends, etc
  • Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

About You

To be successful you will have:

  • A genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
  • Completed a
    degree level qualification as an allied health professional (Social Work / Psychology / OT / Speech / Education) or have experience with participants in the NDIS (support coordinator, support worker etc)
  • Report writing experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
