The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group is seeking an exceptional Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to develop concepts and content for marketing and
fundraising campaigns, appeals and supporter communications for THRF Group and its charities, supporting client acquisition and fundraising growth.


You will work collaboratively across all teams to support and improve the donor and stakeholder experience across THRF Group charities.

About the role:


As part of the Marketing and Fundraising team, reporting to the Campaigns Lead and working closely with other business units, this role will provide you with the opportunity to have an impact on increasing fundraising outcomes and connecting our community to the services we provide.


Role responsibilities include:


  • Develop and execute multichannel content for marketing and fundraising campaigns as part of donor and client acquisition journeys focused on fundraising and membership growth
  • Understand the supporter base, audiences and campaign objectives to write copy for various appeals and campaigns, incorporating industry best practice and internal learnings to achieve objectives
  • Produce digital engagement content for fundraising and marketing campaigns including blogs and news posts.
  • Interview patients and researchers, organise photoshoots and other activities to ensure fundraising appeals have maximum impact
  • Incorporate test and learn methodology into appeal and campaign planning.
  • Implement learnings on an ongoing basis to improve campaign outcomes
  • Work with internal team members and external stakeholders to
coordinate campaign-related tasks ensuring projects proceed according to
deadlines


About you:

To be successful in the role you will ideally have;

  • Minimum 2 years experience in writing content for sales, direct marketing or fundraising purposes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing for social media and digital channels
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Wordpres CMS and Adobe Marketo
  • Ability to work autonomously, coordinate and prioritise work under pressure and organise time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Highly selfmotivated and proactive. Cando attitude with an eagerness to learn, improve and contribute.
  • Ability to readily adapt to change and to learn new procedures quickly.
  • A strong interest in the health and notforprofit sectors
