The Opportunity
KBR is involved in a range of exciting projects across multiple market sectors including rail, road, water infrastructure, resources and Defence.
Our team continues to grow based on some major project wins and we have an exciting opportunity for an entry level/mid-level
Project Controller to join our team in Perth.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support recording of costs and commitments in accordance with the project WBS
- Maintain forecast at completion estimates
- Identify and report potential cost trends, manage scope changes, highlight trending areas of concern with & recommend potential alternative courses of action
- Review and maintain schedules with progress data for bids and projects
- Prepare performance monitoring curves
- Process contractor progress payment certificates
- Provide input to project Monthly performance Reports and client invoicing
- Prepare estimates with Project management/SME for forecasting & new bids
- Produce accurate cost & financial data for Project Status Review Meetings
Who are you?
You are a skilled and passionate individual wanting to progress your career with a growing global consulting business in the Project Controls discipline.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Data Analysis, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Commercial or Construction related discipline
- Ideally 5 years of experience in project controls or project delivery on infrastructure projects with proficiency in Cost control concepts and tools
- Knowledge of data collection & analysis tools (e.g., InEight, Sensei, Power BI, MS Excel or similar) will be highly advantageous
- Exposure to industry standard scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
