Tableau Analyst ( SQL / Tableau )

Australia ( Remote )

Initial 7 month contract ( view to extend / convert to perm )

$ day rate (inc super) DOE

Tableau Analyst ( SQL / Tableau ) is required to join one of Australia's biggest and best Software Tech companies.

You'll be joining the Data Science Enablement team, a multi-discipline analytical organisation who has the mission to help analysts and data scientists to be able to do the best job of their lives.

Your partners will include data scientists solving real internal problems.

Day to day responsibilities for the

Tableau Analyst ( SQL / Tableau ) includes:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand strategic challenges, understand their needs, cross question them to avoid assumptions and proactively recommend intelligent insights to solve the unanswered questions throughout the engagement
  • Develop, Design, and support interactive Tableau Dashboard reports
  • Work with Data Visualisation Support towards better story telling
  • Deliver reports in an agile environment and timely manner
Essential skills for the

Tableau Analyst ( SQL / Tableau )

  • Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders as a key strength
  • Strong proficiency with SQL
  • Some Databricks (creating notebooks and pipelines) or other tool experience
  • Ability to Prepare documentations and specifications, as and when necessary
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (R or Python) is a bonus
  • Previously worked in global teams and high growth companies
  • An understanding of the SaaS development, business model and metrics
  • Are an active member of the broader analytics and data science community
