The Client

A leading, well established Australian owned Transport Company providing specialist transport and logístical services with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The Position
***In this senior role you will be responsible for the growth and development of a new Road Feeder/Interstate service.

Create and develop interstate transport functions, including all policies, processes, and operating procedures.
Manage the Fleet Maintenance Team to ensure safety and maximise service delivery and fleet effectiveness.
Work with leadership team to implement KPI monitoring and reporting
Manage day to day Linehaul activities and planning of loads.
Conduct team meetings to monitor performance and encourage employee engagement and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communications and customer requirements are met.
Develop and build external customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The Requirements

5+ years transport experience within the Australian market including fleet management, staff and depot.
COR and WHS experience and knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law
Airfreight knowledge an advantage
Advanced change management skills
Ability to present and articulate to senior managers and clients
Full working rights within Australia and current driver's license
