About the Role
Due to company growth, a long-standing Australian business is seeking a skilled

Service Technician to join their team in the Gippsland region.

Working closely with the Sales and Warehouse team, you will be responsible for the assessment, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of rehabilitation equipment.

Additionally, the role will require travelling to support the Sales Representatives throughout the Eastern suburbs and surrounding areas.

Duties:

Assess and troubleshoot for a variety of products to prepare appropriate maintenance and service repair
Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery to meet customer expectations
Recommend replacement of wearing parts in a timely manner to prevent future breakdowns
Collaborate with the workshop technician as needed to ensure seamless equipment functionality
Assist with equipment setup in the workshop and support the complex sales team with infield adjustments to client equipment as required
Conducting trial and setup prior to product selling

Skills and Experience:

Australian Driver's License preferably manual
Previous experience as an Auto electrician is advantageous
Previous mechanical, maintenance, and repair experience
Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home maintenance department or appliance repair industry
Good customer service skills
Computer literate
Physically fit (involves lifting of equipment)
Emotional stability
Resilient and a good listener
