Job Description:

Newly created opportunity for a
Transport Supervisor to join our Global Logistics - Grocery team, where you will effectively manage and organise the delivery of grocery loads throughout the Perth Metro area.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will engage in fleet allocation, driver management and safety management.

This role will require you to work from two DC sites - Jandakot and Perth Airport, on rotating fortnightly roster (Monday - Friday and Wednesday - Saturday) from 1pm - 9pm.

As the Transport Supervisor, you will:

Determine and arrange daily/weekly labour and vehicle requirements according to volume and time needs to satisfy the customer.
Champion safety and ensure the work in performed in accordance with customer, site and Toll safety values.
Liaise with the customer for load requirements, ensuring a buffer window is in place.
Promote a customer first mindset and maximise profitability by leading the team to meet standards and expectations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

3+ years in the transport industry as a fleet allocator/driver or transport supervisor.
Demonstrated knowledge of the local Perth Metro area.
Strong communication and people engagement skills.
Customer first mindset, and a safety focused attitude.
Thrive in a fastpaced environment and enjoys a challenges.
