Market Analyst, Green Energy (Asia Pacific)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and industry and market analyst to support our strategic marketing analysis in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on green hydrogen and associated transportation vectors (eg ammonia).

The analyst will conduct independent market research and analysis to guide our business strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and support comprehensive market analysis of the green energy sector in the Asia Pacific region, with emphasis on green hydrogen and associated transportation vectors.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret market data to identify trends, opportunities and potential challenges in the green energy sector.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of key market drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the green energy sector.
  • Conducting macroeconomic analysis, including supply and demand, price formation, and forecasts
  • Collect and analyse FFI's project, production and economic information, collaborate with crossfunctional teams to share insights, provide recommendations and drive datadriven decision making.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports, presentations and other communications to senior management and executives.
  • Continuously monitor market developments and regulatory changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with key industry partners; research firms, customers and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualification and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field would be highly regarded (not essential)
  • Ideally 25 years of experience in market analysis, preferably in the LNG, ammonia or other energy transportation commodities.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically engage with and effectively utilise data from external sources.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and analysis software.
  • Familiarity with a CRM (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills and must be able to excel in a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
