Bupa Banora Point is a delightful care home set in a suburb of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. You'll be close to the local community with shops, parks, schools and churches nearby. Bupa Pottsville Beach is a modern care home set in a peaceful NSW holiday village, just a short walk to the local beaches and less than an hour from the Gold Coast. It consists of 151 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities.
Duties
- Plan, organise, and lead activities for our residents that will meet social and recreational needs while also promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of the programs, by tracking residents' progress and changing the programs as needed
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle
- Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
- Previous experience within an aged or community care setting
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
