Early Childhood After Kindy Care Lead Educator or Assistant Educator
We are looking for enthusiastic Early Childhood Professionals to join the team at our Community Kindergarten as we launch After Kindy Care.

About You:
We are looking for a passionate early childhood educators to join our team as either Lead Educator or Assistant Educator.
Lead Educator
As the Lead Educator of our After Kindy Care programme, you will be responsible for developing, launching and leading this new addition to our service in accordance with YPK and C&K standards and policies.
You will have the ability to document and assess children's learning behaviour and development using C&K's Curriculum Approach, the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework.
You will have a passion for diversity and inclusion, treating all children with dignity and respect, embracing each child's unique family and background, maintaining an environment that is inclusive and respectful of child and family cultures, values and differences.
Part Time Position - Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm during term time (Qld State Schools)Ideal applicants will have:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Prior experience in an early childhood setting, experience in a community kindergarten an advantage
- Current working with children check (Blue Card)
- Current first Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates
Assistant Educator
As the Assistant Educator of our After Kindy Care programme, you will support the AKC Co-ordinator in developing, launching and leading this new addition to our service in accordance with YPK and C&K standards and policies.
You will have the ability to document and assess children's learning behaviour and development using C&K's Curriculum Approach, the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework.
You will have a passion for diversity and inclusion, treating all children with dignity and respect, embracing each child's unique family and background, maintaining an environment that is inclusive and respectful of child and family cultures, values and differences.
Part Time Position - Monday to Friday afternoons, 2:30pm to 6pm during term time (Qld State Schools)Ideal applicants will have:
- Certificate III in Children's Services (applicants enrolled in Certificate III or higher qualification welcome to apply)
- Prior experience in an early childhood setting, experience in a community kindergarten an advantage
- Current working with children check (Blue Card)
- Current first Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates
