Non-for profit professional peak body that represents professionals, teams, and organisations involved in the strategic and operational management of facilities in both the public and private sectors throughout Australia.


About the Role
As the Events Coordinator, you will support all planning, developing coordination, and delivery of Events.

You will work in conjunction with the national branches in VIC, NSW, and ACT and their committees to plan events for a 12mth calendar year.

You will have a passion for event and program management with previous project management experience. Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organised, and have excellent time management skills.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work autonomously with the branch committee executive to ensure a calendar of applicable events is developed and approved
  • For individual events undertake all aspects of planning, budgeting, securing speakers, and Implementing each approved event
  • Work within the agreed processes to develop and seek approval for events
  • Help with the marketing aspect of the events including communications for their members and branches

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience in an event or program administration/coordination
  • Previous experience in customer relations and/or managing professional stakeholders
  • Previous experience working alongside volunteers is highly desirable
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
  • Confidence and strong interpersonal skills and engagement with all levels of stakeholders
  • Experience using IMIS is desirable
