Aspect Personnel are currently working with a council in Melbourne's Western Suburbs to recruit a Project Scheduler/Planner for a new contract role.

The role is an initial 2-3 month contract.

You will join a project team responsible for the delivery of councils capital works program with projects spanning civil infrastructure, community buildings, parks and recreation.

You will be responsible for:

Development of schedules for large scale capital works programs
Development of schedule reporting
Risk identification, analysis and mitigation
Providing updates and guidance to internal stakeholder
Monitoring and reporting finances and project progress
Preparing detailed reports
A sound understanding of Project Management Methodology
Previous experience successfully developing and maintaining project schedules
Experience in project management ideally within local government
A solid understanding of Local Government policies and procedures
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
A current driver's license
