As a Capability Specialist you will be responsible for analysing data and delivering PSF Professional standards framework initiatives to enable our Personal Injury Teams to be successful.

You will be partnering and consulting with stakeholders, influencing learning outcomes, designing, and delivering learning based on Adult Learning Principles, enabling a life-long learning culture, and supporting business success.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Build trust and increase engagement by communicating positive outcomes of the Professional Standards (PS)
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders including Case Managers, Technical Specialists, Injury Management Specialists and Team Managers to conduct workplace observations and assess PS capability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the learning and capability team to identify learning needs and implement learning solutions.
  • Support teams build capability by delivery instructor led learning and curating selfservice learning. Travel may be required between offices to deliver instructor led learning.
  • Support Team Managers to embed instructor led learning, selfservice learning and professional standards in their teams.
  • Lead employees to increase capability and confidence by providing individual feedback on strengths and opportunities and coaching collaboratively.
  • Collaborate with the leadership triangle to increase team's PS capability.
  • Support team members in completing the Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management.

Important to your success:


  • Experience in a heavily regulated industry with a strong customer focus
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate with stakeholders, establish strong relationships, influence outcomes, and increase employee outcomes
  • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, capable of communicating to all organisational levels with clarity, impact and influence.
  • The ability to analyse data, interpret complex information and find learning solutions
  • Relevant tertiary or adult learning qualification, such as Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning.
  • Proven track record and examples of assessing capability against a standards framework, providing feedback, implementing learning, and successfully increasing employee capability.
