About the role:

This role will involve contributing to the business success through preparation of drawings and data required for the installation of new equipment or the upgrade of existing steel making equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

The daily use of AutoDesk products: Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault.
Liaison across various departments and key stakeholders i.e., Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, Operations and Maintenance personnel.
Trouble shooting design issues.
Proactive approach to all things safety

About your experience:

About your experience The successful applicant will have:

Relevant qualifications in design drafting.
Experience in a mechanical trade, ideally within the manufacturing industry
Strong computer skills.
Demonstrate logical thought processes with a high ability to troubleshoot
Excellent communication skills

InfraBuild's Steel Manufacturing business unit operates world-class state-of-the-art Steelmaking facilities in Sydney, Newcastle & Melbourne. Operating two electric arc furnaces and four rod and bar rolling mills, we use local materials to produce high quality steel products.
