    Description

    Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's West to recruit a Civil Maintenance Coordinator for an initial 3 month contract.

    You will be responsible for leadership, management, process review, contract management, scheduling, operations coordination, and road management compliance for the council's civil maintenance teams.

    • Leading & managing a small works crew
    • Contract management and procurement
    • Performance & KPI reporting and auditing
    • Project Management of maintenance works
    • Site inspections & surveillance
    • Ensuring adherence to OHS policies and practices

    As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

    • A qualification in civil engineering/construction
    • Experience /knowledge of civil maintenance (roads, footpaths & drainage)
    • Experience in contract management and management of RMP compliance.
    • Knowledge of OH&S and safe operating techniques
    • A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
    • Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
    • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
