Overview


This FS company with a fantastic reputation in the market is currently seeking a Financial Crime Manager to become a valuable addition to their Risk & Compliance team.

The selected individual will assume the responsibility of establishing, assisting, and upholding the business's framework for managing financial crime risks.

This role entails working closely with the company's operations in an advisory role to ensure that financial crime risks are efficiently addressed, examining customer and transactional data, investigating unusual occurrences, and formulating strategies to both prevent and detect financial crimes.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for developing & maintaining the company's financial crime risk management framework.
  • Provide advice on the daytoday compliance with AML/CTF obligations
  • Investigate potential AML/CTF threats through transaction monitoring
  • Undertake daily assessment of reported unusual matters
  • Work with thirdparty providers to ensure all AML/KYC obligations are being met
  • Conduct risk assessments on current processes as it relates to AML/KYC
  • Support the administration of the group's Compliance Management Framework (CMF)
  • Conduct investigations into customer transactions to identify potential suspicious matters
  • Keep abreast of financial crime regulations and outlining the potential impacts these may have on the business

Ideal Skills:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise your workloads and manage your time efficiently.
  • Commercial and analytical mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or Diploma in Financial Services Regulation
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Crime Manager role
  • AML/CTF experience
  • Experience working with Risk and Compliance frameworks preferred
