Senior Client Executive - NSW Government


Over the past 12 months, this technology and business consulting business has seen significant growth both organically and through acquisition.


To continue this sharp growth trajectory, we need the specialised services of a Sales Pursuit Lead to leverage their existing knowledge and network within the public sector to identify and win projects within NSW Government.

About the role


This main remit will be to close new business projects within key NSW Government departments, such as DFSI, Services NSW, eHealth, Transport & Education, etc.

You will utilise high performing cross functional and matrixed environments like Cloud and Application Consulting Services, Transformation & Change Programmes (Agile & Digital), IoT, PMO, Cyber Security, Big Data, Data Management and so on.


  • Develop and execute a business development plan
  • Hunting and growing business within this target market both on and off panel
  • The ability to sell differentiating solutions and service offerings to win repeatable work

About you
You are a well-connected, well-networked Sales Capture, Sales Pursuit or Senior Client Executive within NSW Government.

You possess a significant network and stakeholder engagement at the Senior Executive level (Secretary, Deputy Secretary, CEO, CFO and CIO) with key clusters and agencies.


You are looking for an opportunity to join a disruptor and want to build a highly profitable, well-supported business unit in NSW.


  • Experience selling Professional IT Services, Managed Services, Applications Services, Cloud & Digital Transformation is required
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic business development from within the Australian IT Consulting or Systems Integrator landscape to the NSW Government sector
  • Able to utilise your existing Secretary, Deputy Secretary, CEO, CFO and CIO contacts to generate new revenues streams
  • A targeted, strategic and resultsoriented approach coupled with demonstrated success in independently hunting and growing new clients
  • Selfmotivated, imaginative, driven and ambitious
