The Role:


What's the role?

You will be entrusted to:

  • Develop, conduct, coordinate and improve any required training and assessment materials for Maintenance Technicians, Apprentices and Trainees.
  • Identify training needs and learning opportunities using previous experience / gap analysis tools and work with team leaders to implement an individual training plan to address learning gap.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the learning pathways align with Maintenance Technician competence requirements.
  • Handle Continuous Improvement of training and assessment material ensuring capturing of any local or global lessons learned.

You will thrive in the following areas:
Technical

  • Experience must have significant direct experience in the maintenance of an LNG, gas processing, complex hydrocarbon facility, or similar experience gained on a Major Hazards Facility.
Leadership

  • Proficient communicator and able to engage with key stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges in a collaborative and effective manner
  • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members
  • Ability to identify gaps in process and provide practical solutions that can deliver sustained improvement.

What we need from you
We are keen to speak to individuals with the following:

  • Extensive experience in a front-line oil & gas Operations or Maintenance role in an asset
  • Detailed knowledge of the upstream Oil and Gas Industry production, process plant and equipment and maintenance
  • Certificate four in Training and assessment or equivalent industry assessment experience
  • Current Trade Qualification in a trade discipline (I&E)
  • Knowledge of the framework of Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Licensed Occupations within your discipline
  • Create effective learning options to meet the varying needs of employees
  • Welldeveloped written communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work to deadlines
  • An effective team player with the ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm
  • Initiative and capacity to exercise judgment.
