About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager on behalf of our client, a privately owned Group with property portfolios across Brisbane and the Gold Coast and major investments across Southeast Queensland.
The role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the buildings and services are properly maintained, overseeing the upkeep of property and equipment, determining and scheduling repairs or capital projects as delegated, completing inspections and managing the annual budget.
The skills and experience required for this role:
- Able to read and understand "as built" drawings and plans
- Technical and professional experience to enable timely and well informed decisions
- Ability to operate Building Management Systems
- Holds sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and other statutory requirements as pertinent to the role
- Ability to work under reasonable pressure and maintain a reasonable disposition to internal and external contracts
