About the Role:


The Manager, Procurement Strategy is responsible for the development and implementation of the department's strategic plan and driving excellence throughout the Procurement function and across the department for procurement activities through the delivery of process improvement, best practice processes, professional development and change management projects.

The position will work with the Deputy Chief Procurement Office (D/CPO) to build a modern procurement organisation to support department strategies and objectives.


Qualifications:


Desirable:
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or a CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply or similar.

Special Conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:

ASO8 $119, ,822 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
