Digital and Data Operations Manager- Perth Location- Permanent an Full Time Position

Your Business


The Digital and Data area's purpose is to attract and retain customers through providing simple and elegant experiences and communications informed by analytics & insight.

Your Team


The Digital team creates and drives the Bankwest digital experience for our customers through our digital channels (mobile app, internet banking and website).

The data team is responsible for assisting in the transformation of Bankwest performance reporting as well as providing data & insights across Bankwest.

Your Impact


The Digital and Data Operations Manager is accountable for managing all aspects of digital and data operations including management and execution of risk and controls, the proactive identification and treatment of risk and ongoing management of technical implementations and initiatives to drive positive customer outcomes.

The role would include but is not limited to the following:


Responsibilities:


  • Accountability for all aspects of risk management and operations (both technical and nontechnical) across the Bankwest digital ecosystem.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders across Digital, Risk and Technology teams to proactively identify and manage potential risk. Manage the ongoing controls and implementation of new controls across the Digital Team.
  • Work within an agile environment to unpack complex pieces of work to determine pathways to execution.
  • The support of the Group Procurement life cycle and all associated contract and SLA management
  • The identification and ownership of enablement opportunities across D&D supporting the overall strategy.
  • Implement continuous improvements into processes to improve efficiency and deliver simplification.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered to and managed appropriately.
  • Manage/ run Audits, and control procedures as required.


Your Experience, Skills and Attributes- Risk Mindset - all CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.

- 3+ years Leadership experience in an operations environment (or similar Leadership experience)- Excellent communication skills- A proven track record of demonstrating success managing and mitigating risk within online channels- Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management- Demonstrated success in a digital / data risk focused role, achieving customer outcomes, within tight time frames- Strong understanding of the Compliance and Regulatory environment within Financial Services- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting and vendor/supplier management- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate systems or procedural issues, pull together information and analyze data within tight timeframes and report to key stakeholders- Technical knowledge and previous experience within a technical role desirable- Knowledge of Bankwest systems is desirable but not essential- Familiarity with business and financial principles- Outstanding organisational skills
