The Opportunity


We are currently looking for a Systems & Projects partner to deliver assigned projects and tasks defined in the functional business plan in a safe, efficient and reliable manner.


The Role

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate and deliver workshops with key stakeholders to identify system requirements:
- ensure stakeholder needs are met
- capture and document functional and non-functional software system specifications
- ensure the system is configured according to business requirements and fit for purpose

  • Develop and manage project implementation documentation, including project and change management plans, configuration specifications and training collateral
  • Deliver and execute the project implementation plans
  • Project management of projects, including internal and external project teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved
  • Review existing systems configuration and identify process and system improvements, including integration with other systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review end to end processes and design enhanced processes to streamline operational flows and maximise digitalisation opportunities
  • Review improvements in workflows, functionality and reporting
  • Map current and future processes
  • Work with software vendors and key stakeholders to develop, test and implement process improvement recommendations
  • Develop and manage change log for system configuration and changes
  • Develop documentation for software vendors, including evaluation criteria, system requirements, request for proposal etc
  • Ensure change management associated with system implementation and enhancements is conducted
  • Develop and ensure delivery of system training and training material

About You
To be successful in this role we need you to have

  • Demonstrated experience in system implementations, including gathering and documenting requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects
  • Previous experience facilitating system and process training to employees, including the development of materials and resources that support learning outcomes
  • Previous experience facilitating process workshops
  • Previous experience developing process maps
  • Excellent business process improvement skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and business improvement focus
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a manner that builds trust and confidence of staff, encouraging all staff to be open and honest about operational inefficiencies and improvements
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft programs, including Visio
