The Freedom of Information (FOI) unit of Western Health processes over 1500 requests for medical records each year.

Based at Footscray Hospital, the FOI unit is a small but busy function providing an essential service for patients Mondays to Fridays.

As Western Health expands its services and locations, the volume of FOI requests is expected to increase.

To respond to the growth in FOI requests, the FOI Unit is focused on process efficiency and finding improved ways of working to meet the demand within capacity limits.


We are looking for a Team Leader for our FOI unit to lead us in this transition, support and empower our valued and hardworking team to explore new ways of working and set us up to respond to the growth in demand for our services.

The role is four days per week.
