Form a critical part of the headspace Senior Leadership team:
Full-time 6-month position (can negotiate part-time depending on experience):
Work from our headspace Knox centre + occasionally travel to our Lilydale site
This is your opportunity to be part of a reputable mental health service
Reporting to the headspace Services Manager, your role will be instrumental in providing strategic governance and clinical direction across the headspace service.
Some of the key components of your role will include:- Providing clinical leadership, supervision, consultation, and expertise to the clinical staff of headspace Knox & Lilydale in the delivery of high-quality mental health care for young people.
- Maintain and review clinical caseload's/processes.
- Providing day to day guidance and support to the clinical staff across both sites.
- Oversee and assist with young people accessing a range of headspace services to support coordinated care for the young person.
- Facilitating positive working relationships between key stakeholders to ensure collaborative care across multiple providers.
- Being involved in the development and revision of appropriate education and information formats for young people, families/carers, GP's and community.
Qualifications:
Play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of our headspace centres
As part of a clinical team, EACH is looking for a passionate and motivated Clinical Lead to facilitate the delivery of high-quality mental health care for young people.
- To succeed in this role, you will have:_
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and supervision of clinical staff.
- Extensive clinical skills and significant experience working with diverse groups of young people and families.
- Extensive experience in mental health screening, intake and risk assessments with young people.
- Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences_
- A tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline (Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work). AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field.
