3-4 months project with possibility of extension and further work available

  • Currently working 14 days on, 7 days off roster (DIDO)
  • Category 5 Labour Management are a locally owned and operated labour hire business, supplying trades, construction, civil and maintenance personnel to various industries across Australia and New Zealand._
  • We have roles available for skilled fencing workers able to undertake fencing labouring and operating for our growing team in Orange, NSW. We have work throughout the state to support multiple projects in and around NSW specifically looking for the team to be either based in New South Wales regions within proximity to the location of projects and our Sydney Office._

  • Base rate plus penalties apply
  • LAFHA provided when working away where applicable
  • Training opportunities
  • Concreting strainer posts
  • Driving star pickets
  • Erecting mesh and wire fencing
  • Posi track operating (experience driving posts with a rammer attachment is favourable)
  • Measure and cut materials to the appropriate length and size
  • Ensure fences are level and secure
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and team members
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
  • Work way from home (on LAFHA) during roster as required

What you will need:
  • Proven experience as a Fencer (Urban, Rural (7
  • Hinge Joint), Palisade (W), Security)
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Strong and open communicator
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to pass Category 3 rail medical
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • RIW Card and Safely Access the Rail Corridor (desirable)
  • MIG and stick welding experience (desirable)
