As one of the leading family healthcare clinics in Tarneit, we are committed to providing comprehensive, quality medical services in an efficient and caring environment, focused on meeting the needs of our patients from the surrounding community.

In addition to our General Practitioner services, we provide a range of Allied Health services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, and occupational therapy.


The Role
Our clinic seeks a part-time receptionist, 20-25 hours per week, to join our friendly team.


You must enjoy working with people and understand the importance of providing excellent customer service, as well as have a solid understanding of best practice processes in a mixed-disciplinary setting.


The successful applicant will undertake the following:

Provide clerical services, including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records, maintaining databases and information management systems, filing, photocopying, and ordering stationery.

Communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required.

Assist practitioners with requests.

Answer reception telephone calls in a polite and timely manner.

Process payments and Medicare rebates accurately.

Tidy and re-stock at the end of each day.

Provide exceptional customer service to support business development initiatives to contribute to the strategic growth of our practice.


About You
With experience working in a clinical support role, you enjoy knowing your work contributes to positive patient health outcomes.

You will also demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, supporting your ability to communicate with internal staff and external customers.

Your team knows you will go the extra mile to help wherever needed, and they learn they can rely on your work quality.

You understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record-keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this.

Furthermore, you are a respectful and professional person with exceptional attention to detail and moral values.

You are passionate about providing clinical support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.

To succeed in this role, you will require the following:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar reception/administrative role.
  • Experience with best practice software and HICAPS (preferred).
  • Uptodate vaccination certificates (including Covid19 & immunisation schedule for infectious diseases).
