Reporting to the Head of Business Resilience, the Crisis & Business Continuity Manager (CBCM) is responsible for supporting the development, promotion, and administration of the Property Crisis Management and Continuity Programs.

The incumbent will support the Head of Business Resilience with the implementation and development of policies, plans, procedures, and training, that supports Group Crisis strategy and Continuity Management program.


The CBCM will support all business plan activities necessary to enable the Organization to manage a crisis event as well as meet compliance requirements for Business Continuity Planning (BCP).


Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and provide support and guidance to property management to ensure adherence to requirements in the Resilience and supporting frameworks.
  • Monitor and report on Crown Melbourne adherence to requirements in the resilience framework
  • Ensure that the Crown Melbourne Business continuity plan is developed and maintained
  • Liaise with other property BCP Coordinators to develop effective working relationships and documented BCP plans
  • Liaise with key department teams to identify gaps, set recovery time objectives and convey business needs/expectations.
  • Review, challenge and endorse (where appropriate) the Crown Sydney BCP.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Demonstrated and senior experience managing business continuity or operational Risk within a dynamic, multifaceted organization.
  • Experience working in a Casino or Gamingenvironment.
  • Knowledge of technology and business concepts, life cycles and processes within Resort Gaming
  • Advanced presentation skills as you will be presenting to multiple levels of Board, Executive and department management.
  • Aggregate and analyse information and data in order to provide respected reporting and challenge on the operation and decisionmaking of the Business.
  • Engage with, and reporting to, multiple stakeholders and department management.
  • Provide advice, guidance and challenge across the organization to ensure that operational and material risks are appropriately planned for, considered and managed by the Business.
  • Coach and manage a team of indirect reports in technical knowledge and techniques
