We are seeking a passionate
Boarding Supervisor for a prestigious independent girls boarding school in the beautiful Eastern Suburbs

As a Boarding Supervisor you play an important role in creating a positive, caring and open culture that encourages full participation in all activities within the boarding community.
Boarding Supervisors are expected to model appropriate behaviours, values and attitudes at all times.
You are to provide a homely environment where boarders are able to grow into responsible and confident young women.
This role requires regular contact with students, parents and other boarding staff.
Hours include mornings, evenings, overnight and partial weekends during term time.

Boarding Supervisor for a prestigious independent girls' boarding school in the beautiful Eastern Suburbs.

The Role

Part Time 52 hours a fortnight (doesn't have to be live in)
Term Time only
Monitor and be responsive to boarders' movements at all times
Assist boarders in all facets of school life with compassion and consistency
Monitor and encourage academic performance during prep liaising with academic staff when required

The school is one of the first girls' schools in New South Wales and as such enjoys an outstanding reputation combined with a proud tradition of women's achievements.

Have strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Have a warm, approachable manner, able to understand the skills needed of young women living away from home
Demonstrated understanding of girls and young women and ability to manage and communicate with, young adults and their parents
Have an understanding of risk management, WHS and duty of care
Have the ability to work as part of a team
Have current Working with Children Check Card
Have current First Aid Qualification
Have Driver's license

Previous experience working in boarding highly desirable
