The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families.

We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

These positions are based in the Yass area.

We have two positions available. Case worker for Child, Youth and Family Services and one for Housing and Homelessness.


As a Case Manager you will provide effective client focused and outcome based case management and support to families and individuals within our Child, Youth and Family services Monday to Friday, with possible option of rostered on call duties which include some weekends.

Some key duties include, providing case management to clients who are experiencing complex issues, client interviews and working with those clients to identify and address their needs, home visits, referrals and advocacy, safety planning, support and mentoring, and working with external service system to promote connection for clients.


You'll be drawing upon your experience and knowledge in the area of Child, Youth and Family services and/ or housing and homelessness services, as well as your experience in working alongside Aboriginal communities, so those top-level communication and culturally competent skills will be needed.

You will also need a minimum diploma qualification in Community Services or a related discipline, however degree qualifications preferred.

The hourly rate for this position is $39.26 to $42.25 per hour, plus 10% employer superannuation guarantee. Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare's PBI status. Anglicare also offers other benefits including additional personal leave and paid parental leave.
