About the role


The Manager, Clinical Costing is a management position within the Performance Monitoring, Systems Improvement and Innovation Unit with strategic, policy development, oversight and advisory responsibility for providing leadership and coordination of all matters relating to Clinical Costing and Activity Based Management and analytics to ensure SLHD is well positioned to achieve optimal health outcomes within funding allocation.


The position is expected to work closely with SLHD Performance Unit, SLHD Finance and relevant teams at all service levels within the LHD, as well as, driving a strategic approach to ABM performance analysis and benchmarking and leadership of a team to ensure high quality DNR submission, analytics, performance reporting and auditing to achieve organisational goals.


We are looking for someone who

  • Has tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Accounting, Information Technology, Statistical Analysis or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates high level leadership, strategic development, project management and people management skills to enable a clear and defined outcome focus to meet required deadlines in a complex environment.

About working for SLHD

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
