About Our Client

Kingston Human Capital has been engaged by one of Queensland's leading Government Departments to assist in hiring an experienced Principal Procurement Officer A07. This assignment starts as soon as you're available and will carry you through until the end of June 2024 with the possibility of an extension. This engagement offers an above-market rate of $ super per hour.


About the Principal Procurement Officer A07 Role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end procurement for projects, major
contracts, and standing offer arrangements on behalf of the department

  • Categories: General Goods and Services, Information Communication and Technology and Social Services
  • Provide highlevel procurement advice and services to ensure procurement outcomes meet business needs
  • Establish and implement a forward procurement plan
  • Provide advice on best practices and QPP compliance
  • Demonstrate experience in procurement and knowledge of the QPP
  • Possess advanced analytical capabilities
  • Possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills
