While T&G's primary business is growing, packing, selling and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables, we also own and operate Fruitmark - sourcing, importing and supplying a wide range of frozen berries and tropical fruits, and fruit ingredients, used by food and beverage manufacturers and food service distributors.


About the opportunity:

This is a brand-new role in our Sales team, reporting to Fruitmark's Commercial Manager.

As a
New Business Development
Specialist for Fruitmark, you'll bring your industry knowledge and network to develop new business opportunities for our IQF / frozen fruit product range.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive sales growth and market share for Fruitmark
  • Develop a strong customer network of food and beverage manufacturers and food service distributors
  • Manage an effective customer call cycle and develop strategic account plans
  • Build strong product and market knowledge to deliver product solutions that meet customers' needs
  • Sales reporting, analysis and forecasting


This role has the option to be based in either Brisbane or Melbourne with a high degree of customer interaction - which means some interstate travel will be required.

We also offer the flexibility to work from home.

An attractive salary package is on offer plus super and vehicle allowance.


About you:


You're a high-performing sales professional with IQF / fruit ingredients experience and networks in the food and beverage manufacturing sector.

Commercially savvy with a sharp eye for an opportunity, you're renowned for your ability to identify and harness new business opportunities and build quality customer relationships that lead to strong commercial results.

As you will know from experience, this industry moves at pace, so you're the type of person who thrives with a challenge to solve against the clock, and possess the resilience and tenacity to drive sales in a highly competitive market.
