About the role


As our Change Analyst you will be responsible for delivering the change management support for Bupa Villages and Aged Care (BVAC) projects and BAU activity.

You will work collaboratively with the project teams and relevant stakeholders to conceive and support solutions that are innovative, fit for purpose, building the capability and engagement required for our people to achieve our BVAC outcomes.

The role will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, roles and structures, increasing employee engagement and supporting the transition to new operational models.

Please note this is a 12-month Fixed Term Opportunity.


The purpose of this role is to bring effective change solutions to projects and create opportunities for our people and our business to build the required change capabilities, maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance.


If you are successful, you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Be accountable for driving change thought leadership within initiatives and facilitating key business stakeholders to ensure people are ready, willing, and able to adopt change and maximise the benefits of new processes and systems.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Completing activities including assessing the change impacts and readiness
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. third party vendors) to understand and meet business requirements
  • Creating change management strategies and plans that maximise employee engagement and adoption
  • Identifying change risks and issues across key change programmes and working with the Change/Project Manager to resolve them
  • Bringing new ideas to the design process, supporting the business in building change capability
  • Creating change management materials to assist the implementation of key change programmes executed across BVAC
  • Identifying and document the training needs across the Care Homes for key change programmes
  • Delivering and facilitating training sessions to Care Homes or Corporate Office as required
  • Facilitating workshops and discussions to gain consensus on change strategies and options
  • Supporting project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans
  • Collaborating with the Communications and Project Teams to develop messaging for Change Projects
  • Assist in monitoring the success of change implementation and benefits realisation
  • Helping to drive adoption of news ways of working and provide support to general users & managers as a Change Champion
  • Maintaining Change Documentation on SharePoint portals to help distribute information to key stakeholders
  • You may also carry out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time

To be awesome in this role, you will likely have most of the following:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, post graduate qualifications or extensive professional experiencein organisational change management is highly desirable
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model
  • Led the design, build and delivery of elements of project change and engagement activities (including stakeholder analysis, identifying people impacts, developing change plans, champion networks, change leadership support for line managers, communications, learning and training needs etc), for a program of work using multiple delivery models, such as Human Centred Design, Lean, Agile and Waterfall
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, rapport building and conflict resolution skills.
  • Solid experience with MS Office 365 (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Forms, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Demonstrated high level time management and prioritising skills.
